Sears Roebuck farmhouse

This project was a whole-home remodel of a Sears Roebuck house, focused on preserving its historical charm while modernizing it for today's living. Known for their solid construction and classic architectural details, these iconic kit homes provide a charming foundation. The remodel included adding air conditioning, a full bath on the first floor, relocating and expanding the kitchen, and reconfiguring the second floor to create an additional bedroom and enlarge the existing full bath. These updates were made while carefully retaining the original woodwork, moldings, and distinctive features that make a Sears Roebuck home so special. The result is a beautifully restored home that honors its past while embracing the future.
